THE SEASONS: AUTUMN
autumn, be mine
your colours wrap me up in a cosy patchwork blanket.
your smells grace my senses like they fell from the divine.
I feel your velvet textures through my barefoot walks.
what stories the trees could tell if only their leaves would talk.
oh autumn, I wish you could stay and be mine.
you are my favourite because you wake up me senses
and remind me of my wild ways.
please stay a while so we can play, forget the outside world, at least for a few more days.
