Inktober: Path

Path.

Up the garden path, I go,
A Life behind me,
A world beneath my feet,
Lost in a moment,
Found in the soil,
Breathe in a smile,
(Let out a pile) Sigh, let go,
Linger here,
Forever,
I wish.

Down the garden path, I go,
A life in front of me,
Time ticks in lists,
Lost, found in a cup of tea,
Breathe once in a while,
Scream, the smile,
Forever, hand on dish.

Along the garden path, I go,
The years seem quick,
But very slow,
Memories fade,
Some good, some bad,
Lost the ones that make me sad,
Found the treasures inside my heart,
Breathe in joy,
Sigh, relief,
Forever can be anything,
Just follow along the garden path.
