Thursday, 7th July 2016. Day Three of the challenge, an enormous amount of land has already been covered.

Yesterday we travelled for the longest time and reached 3600ft from Landmannalaugar to Alftavatan (around 10 hours).

Today we are heading into the Glacial areas, with fast running streams. Along the Myradalsjokull Icecap.

This mix of dessert like landscape and Icy waters will take its toll on my strength, yet will be intriguing to the eye and invigorating for my body.

I will let you know exactly how it felt when I update this post!

Tonight we will camp next to a stream at the Emstrur Hut.

Sleep tight under the moon tonight xx

Love and ice maiden toes!
