SAY HELLO...
Hi, I'm Becky and my passion is to help women feel good about the way they dress. I thought it might be fun to see if I could buy a capsule wardrobe and then document my daily outfits over a period of one month. The twist though was that all the items have come from local charity shops as I'm an avid pre-loved shopper.
Buying clothes from charity shops works on so many levels for me. The charity benefits from the sales, the buyer benefits from great clothes at a fraction of the price they would be new and the environment benefits as the items bought are spared from ending up as landfill.
So here's Day One. I had a colour consultation with a new client so it only felt right to be wearing colour myself!
THE OUTFIT COST £33.95, INCLUDING THE SCARF AND STATEMENT RING.
Keep following Becky on Facebook for updates to find out if she will manage to do all 30 days!
You can also return here as we follow her journey during the challenge.
every year 235 million items of clothing go to landfill in the UK, many are not biodegradable.
