Gather & Ink is a fortnightly writing group created to connect, guide and inspire people who write or dream of writing either for personal pleasure, blogging or books.
Somewhere to experiment with your voice, and explore who you are, right down to your bones.
Whether you are looking to explore the possibilities of being a writer, learn more about the healing power of journaling or make an impact through your words. Come and experience other perspectives, learn, grow and get your brave on. (whilst enjoying tea & cake!)
Each session will incorporate a learning element or workshop on a specific challenge the group may all be facing with our writing, there will be the opportunity to get some writing completed and receive peer support and coaching from Sam - plus encouragement to find your voice, flow and grow.

There’s an enrichment to be found within a group setting, from other people’s journeys, their knowledge & yours! There’s safety in numbers that gives you a permission slip to set your words free.
We’ll hold you accountable for achieving your goals and pursuing your writing dreams.

The Court Street Gallery is tucked within the older part of Trowbridge and blessed with vast ceilings and beautiful light. It’s an inspiring environment and a hub of creative activity. As you walk through the delightful blue door your presence will be noted by the sound of a bell and a warm welcome awaits you.
This is a ground floor venue.
The train station is approximately a 15-minute walk away.
Car Parks:
St Stephen’s Place is a multi-storey car park about a 5-minute walk away. Park on the upper levels for extended parking times. This is a free car park.

what do you need?
Resources and materials will be available. Bring your favourite notebook and pen/ pencil.
For this event, you may want to bring your work in progress (a chapter perhaps) or an idea you’d like to work on.
Refreshments inc. tea/ coffee and cake or fruit although, feel free to bring whatever you need to feel nourished. Let me know if you have any allergies/ dietary requirements that I need to be aware of.

Hello, I’m Sam Osbiston.
You’re slightly mad and magical teacher.
As a Writing and Book Coach, I’ve been taking writers on inky adventures for around 7 years, guiding and encouraging them to embrace their creative gifts and share them around a bit - because who doesn’t love a story!
I am here to hold space for you; so you feel supported in your creative exploration and can tap into my twenty five+ years of expertise whilst learning skills to enhance your desires for writing and beyond.
