I had a Wardrobe Consultation today so wanted to look professional for my client. I chose the black trousers, print blouse, black long line jacket and nude mules. It just didn't feel right without any colour though so I popped on the silk scarf. It was comfy, practical and I received compliments on the school run.

I also wore the starfish ring but it snapped off when piling youngest into the car this afternoon! I'll have to see whether I can stick it back together rather than throw it away. I've just been reading lots of facts on waste as part of this project and was saddened to see an estimated £140 million worth (equivalent to 350,000 tonnes) of used clothing goes to landfill in the UK every year. Buying from charity or pre-loved shops goes some way to reducing that figure.

Today's outfit cost £25 (and saved 4 pieces going to waste!) x
